Lisa Truszkowski, 59, of Howell, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Orange, raised in Bloomfield, and settled in Howell. Lisa was deeply devoted to her family and friends and cherished time spent together. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Lisa took pride in her work at the group home where she formed meaningful bonds with those in her care and showed unwavering compassion and commitment. She was also a CCD teacher at St. Veronica’s Church in Howell, where she found fulfillment guiding children with kindness, faith, and encouragement.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Jim Truszkowski; children, Jimmy Truszkowski, Lindsay Truszkowski, and Brian Truszkowski and his wife, Nicole; one grandchild, Lily; parents, Walter and Linda Przybylski; and sisters, Lori Bishop and Jessica Przybylski.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at St. Veronica’s Church, 4219 Route 9, Howell Township. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold.
