Ronald “Big Ron” Buck, 84, of Farmingdale passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was born in Kentucky, lived in Toms River, and settled in Farmingdale in 1963. Ron worked for over 30 years as a teacher, retiring from the Freehold Career Center. For over 50 years he built racing engines and enjoyed car racing. Ron was always in his garage and was known as Mr. Fix It, fixing countless things around his own home. He had a passion for cruising and traveling, going on over 20 cruises. Ron loved a good trip to Atlantic City, but most of all being a devoted husband and Pop.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Judith Buck; children, Ronnie Buck and Richard Buck; and grandchildren, Ashley Buck, Kaitlyn Buck, and Melody Buck.
