Linda Kay Francis passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19th, at the age of 73.

Linda was born in New Brunswick, NJ, to parents Harry “Chick” & Pauline Francis.  She lived between Piscataway and New Brunswick much of her life until relocating to East Stroudsburg, PA, with her doting husband Al, and remained there until his passing in 2023, when Linda then returned to NJ to be closer to her children.

Once the wittiest and wildest woman in the room, Linda was always chasing a kind of happiness she never could quite capture until eventually finding what she was looking for by watching her grandchildren grow up from near and afar, spending time in the comfort of her cozy home with her husband and cats or penning in her journals, working on a book she will never get the opportunity to publish.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Akus, her son, Gregory Gaglione, and her grandson, Wyatt Cavanagh, who both made their untimely earthly exits in the Spring of 2018.

Survived by her son, Michael Gaglione (Kelli) of Hamilton, NJ; daughter, Donna Cavanagh of Farmingdale, NJ; her grandchildren, Devin, Cecelia, Waylon, Nicholas, Olivia, Luca, Georgia, and Emma; and sister, Michelle Johnson (Larry) of Ringoes, NJ.
