Anna Della Fave Obituary

Anna Della Fave, 91, of Howell passed away at The Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center, Freehold on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.  She was born and raised in Hoboken and lived most of her life in Jersey City before settling in Howell.   She worked at the American Can Company in Jersey City as an administrative assistant for over 40 years before retiring at the age of 62. Anna's greatest accomplishment was her close relationships with her siblings and nieces and nephews and taking great care of her mother throughout her life.  She was always there to lend a helping hand and was known for her warm and loving nature. In her free time, Anna enjoyed summering in Brick. She loved family picnics and reunions down the shore. Anna's hobbies included shopping and going out to dinner, and she was always a joy to be around.


She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Giancaspro and her husband, Frank, Rose Testa and her husband, Ralph, Joseph Della Fave and his wife, Ann, Nancy Neri and her husband, Mario and Anthony Della Fave and one niece and nephew. Anna is survived by her sister, Eleanor Sheehy and her husband Robert of Howell; sister-in-law, Barbara Della Fave; twelve nieces and nephews; many extended family and friends.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM funeral mass at The Co- Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ 07728 on, February 2nd, 2026.  Inurnment to follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro.
