Priscilla “Pat” Marie McClaren, 85, of Howell passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Howell.
Priscilla was a dedicated wife and mother who always made sure her family was taken care of. In her youth, she rode and showed horses and also participated in barrel racing and other competitive events. She enjoyed all sports and coached many Little League baseball teams. Pat also served as President of North Howell Little League for three years in the 70s. She was a diehard auto racing fan, both short track dirt and asphalt. She also enjoyed going to craft shows and antiquing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending everything that they were involved in.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ellsworth McClaren; parents, Albert and Ruth Mauser; and brother, Ralph Mauser. Pat is survived by her sons, Scott McClaren and his wife, Josette and Blake McClaren and his wife, Diane; grandchildren, Blake and his fiancée, Lauren, Roxanne Fuentes and her husband, Giovanni, Scott, and Christopher; great granddaughter, Selena; brother, Bill Mauser and his wife, Gayle; sister, Linda O’Rorke; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery, 252 Wyckoff Mills Road, Adelphia. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
