Ronald P. Massari, 91, of Farmingdale passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Bayshore Community Medical Center, Holmdel. He was born and raised in Staten Island, and moved to Farmingdale in 1986.  Ron spent 25 years working for the FDNY, the world’s busiest and most highly skilled emergency response agency.  He was then employed by the State of New Jersey as a fire inspector eventually retiring in 1999 from Lakewood.  Ron enjoyed woodworking and was the guy everyone could count on to fix anything.  He met his loving wife at her Sweet 16 and they spent many wonderful years raising a family and making memories before she passed in 2023.  Ron adored his family and dedicated his life to making them happy and taking care of them.  He was a lifetime member having served with the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years with the St. Catherine Siena Council #10,005 and had served as a past Grand Knight. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Marie T. Massari. Ron is survived by his children, Deborah Vasta, Ronald Massari, LoriAnn Polewczak and her husband, John, and Michael Massari and his wife, Pam; grandchildren, Nicole Gallo and her husband, Jeremy, Stacy Leimburg and her husband, Harry, John Philip Polewczak and his wife, Suzanne, Melissa Heimbuch and her husband, Justinn, Stephanie Brochu and her husband, Trenten, and Michael Massari; and great grandchildren, Lucas John Heimbuch, Robert Polewczak and Theo Heimbuch.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to begin at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
