After every appointment, she would reach into her coat pocket and give me a dove chocolate. She knew that a little bit of chocolate was good for the body and soul. She took wonderful care of my family and I for years and I’m eternally grateful.

Rest in peace Dr. Cherciu. And my condolences to her family who I know miss her deeply. ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear this, you both took care of my whole family from when we moved to Freehold in 1999. You both were so much more than good doctors. We love you two so much and were sad when Dr. D fell ill. I will always remember her loving smile and comfort she provided. I only just found out today or we would have been at the service with love and support for you Dr M.

Dr. Doina was such a sweet, warm, and down to earth woman. I was one of her pharmaceutical reps back in the early 2000's. I used to call on her office in freehold. We always shared some good laughs together and she was always so genuine and kind. Sending my sincerest condolences to her brother and family. God bless you Dr. Doina. Dr. Cherciu was a wonderful doctor. Mugerel was my primary but she was always available. Their no nonsense and common sense approach to medicine is greatly missed. They treated my whole family and we still haven't found anyone as good as they were. Prayers to the family.

So many memories of Dr D! Working next door to each other, we shared daily chats! From weather to travel to great restaurants and recipes to Christmas shopping!

Professionally she was top notch, she was sympathetic and caring, she was knowledgeable and extremely intelligent! If you were lucky enough to be her patient, you had a doctor who always had your back and treated you like family.

She was such an incredible example of kindness and caring. She truly put the care in healthcare and usually slipped a Dove chocolate into your palm as you were leaving. I will be forever thankful for having known her.
