I remember visiting Trudy when I had business in NYC. I took the train to Elizabeth and Trudy picked me up. One time I showed up at her door after driving from visiting my family in CT with a bouquet of sunflowers I bought at a local nursery. I had dark sunglasses on and Trudy did not recognize me. We laughed about that for years - she brought it up many times. She also loved being called Shirley after Shirley McClain
