Obituary of Charlotte Wagner

Charlotte Wagner, 94, of Howell, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Born in Allenwood, she was raised in Freehold and spent her teenage years in Farmingdale before settling in Howell, where she made her home for the past 67 years. Affectionately known as "Nana" to her family, Charlotte cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. In her spare time, she found great joy in crafting, particularly sewing and knitting, and she also enjoyed relaxing while watching her favorite television "stories." She is predeceased by her husband, James Wagner; sons, Robert D. Wagner, Thomas R. Wagner, James A. Wagner, Jr., and David Wagner; granddaughter, Katie Wagner; brother, Thomas Moore; and sister, Barbara Gilson. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Susan Wagner; grandchildren, Robert D. Wagner, Jr., Ashley Wagner, Thomas R. Wagner, Jr., and Brian Wagner; and great grandchildren, Karma Ann, Marissa, Jamie, and Robert. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 1:30 PM graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, West Farms Road and Route 524, Howell Township on Friday, March 13, 2026.
