I served on the Family Services Committee with Marianne for many years. She cared so much about Habitat and the families. Marianne was a lovely person and she checked in on me when my son was very sick. I will miss her very much. She represented what was best in humanity. I will miss her.
Elliot and family,
The world lost one of its best. I was sad to hear about Marianne, but will always have such fond memories of when we first met and worked together. My deepest sympathies to you all.

I met Marianne when she helped my mom with her house after Hurricane Sandy. She was one of the sweetest people we have ever met and was so helpful through a difficult time. We hit it off immediately and we stayed talking longer than we needed to. At one point I told her where I worked and it so happened to be where her daughter, Kristin, worked. I told her that I now know where Kristin gets her kindness and her ability to help others. Then I found out she was a Mets fan and made me love her more. We stayed connected after that and was always happy to see her at our work gatherings. I am so sad to hear that she passed, but I know that her beautiful soul is in an amazing and peaceful place. To her family, you are all in my prayers and may all the wonderful memories with her, bring you all comfort.
Thanking for sharing these beautiful pictures and memories with us. I enjoyed watching. I can see the love in all of them.
Dear Pastor Ron, Sincere Condolences to you and your family.May you find comfort in your memories and strength in the days ahead May you be surrounded with the peace and love of God daily.

I am so very sorry to hear of Marianne's sudden passing. She was a warm, wonderful and loving person who cherished her family. I am very sorry for the loss to all of you. I am so grateful that I got to see her and catch up with her these past few years at several family events. I first met her when I was 21 years old and she welcomed me with open arms. The years of memories are flooding back, her kind heart always shining through. I will always remember her with love. If I could physically be there at her viewing, I would be there. I will be thinking of all of you. May her memory be a blessing and her loving spirit be felt from heaven to bring you comfort.
Our heartfelt sympathies to the entire Herring family. Marianne was a longtime neighbor and friend. Although we didn't see each other so much since the kids grew up, we still caught up with each other just weeks ago, outside her driveway on one of the coldest days of the year. Just us chatting away for 40 + minutes until it got dark and we had to go on our way. I have fond memories of Marianne, may she rest in peace.
My family and I celebrate the life of a wonderful woman, my dear cousin Marianne, and mourn her passing.
Pastor Ron Gonzalez, I was deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of your sister. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Working alongside you in pastoral care, I see every day the compassion and faith you bring to others in their times of need. It is my prayer that the same comfort and grace you so faithfully share with others will now surround you and your loved ones.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you, Carol, and your entire family. May God’s peace sustain and comfort you, and may the love of family, friends, and your church community give you strength as you remember your sister with gratitude for the gift of her life.
I will greatly miss my sister in law Marianne who I knew for 49 years. Lots of wonderful memories including her being bridesmaid in my wedding to her brother Ron. My love to her family and may God bring comfort to the hearts of everyone who grieves.
