Obituary of Angelo Andi Palmisano, Jr.
Angelo Andi Palmisano, Jr., 92, of Freehold, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Newark, Andi later lived in Union before settling in Freehold in 2004. He spent many years working as an Insurance Claims Manager before later serving as a Private Investigator prior to his retirement.
Andi enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, rarely missing a challenge from the New York Times. He loved traveling to Disney World and had a deep appreciation for classical and big band music. These passions, along with his curiosity and sharp mind, remained with him throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his son, Robert; and brother, Anthony.
Andi is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lois Palmisano; his children, William Peck, Debra Peck, Kenneth Palmisano, and Thomas Palmisano; his sister, Doris; and his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also fondly remembered by his cherished feline companions, Loki and Thor.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
