Obituary of Mark S. Vincent
Mark S. Vincent, 67, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born and raised in Plainfield and lived in Spring Lake Heights and Howell before settling in Freehold in 1997. Mark was a dedicated, ethical, and highly analytical attorney for over 40 years, and liked to refer to himself as a country lawyer. He fooled no one. He was a proud graduate of Rutgers College and was pleased to note that his diploma read Rutgers College and not Rutgers University. He was a tremendous fan of the Rutgers football program. Mark was a member of the Knights of Columbus council #6201 of Jackson, where he was a Past Grand Knight. He attained the level of Fourth Degree Knight and exhibited the traits of patriotism, responsible citizenship, and love for country daily. He enjoyed cooking for his family and shooing his dogs away from his creations.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Patricia Vincent; and brother, Craig. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Marie C. Hanley; children, Martha Hoffman and Liam Vincent; granddaughter, Evelyn; sister, Pam Consavage and her husband, Robin; nephew, Christopher; nieces, Sarah and Marnie; and brother-in-law, William Hanley and his wife, Mary.
