Obituary of Margaret Ann Christensen

Margaret Christensen, 65, of Barnegat passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Stafford Township.  Margaret was born in Newark and was raised in Cedar Grove.  She and her husband, Greg, lived in Manahawkin before building their family farm (THIMOPAL II) in Barnegat, where they shared a fulfilling life together.  Margaret had a very deep abiding love of her family and loved ones.  She had a great sense of compassion and a generous and open heart; love of others was second nature to her.

Margaret also relished her time with her animals and had a special place in her heart for her three dogs, Ruth, Simba, and Chloe.  Margaret was working as the Executive Director for Retail Maintenance Specialists in Toms River. 

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marion (née Spillane) Daniels; brother, Joseph “Jay” Daniels; and brothers-in-law, Janek Skutnik and Edward Price.  She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Gregory Christensen; son, Michael Christensen and his fiancée, Monica Petyo; siblings, Mary Jo Skutnik, Peter Daniels and his wife, Carol, Christine Kucma and her husband, Peter, Alicia Wheeler and her husband Jeffrey, Mark Daniels and his wife, Irene, and her twin sister, Marion Price; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.
