Obituary of Silvana Giuffre

Silvana Giuffre, 75, of Jackson passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. She was born, raised, and lived in Palermo, Italy. Silvana came to the United States to Brooklyn 31 years ago before settling in Jackson. She worked as a waitress, daycare worker, and for Hospital for Special Surgery. Her favorite job was being a devoted mother and grandmother. Silvana was a talented seamstress, creating many magical Halloween costumes and outfits for her daughters. She cooked many amazing meals, her specialty being any Sicilian dish, and enjoyed listening to opera music.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pietro and Margherita Napolitano; and sister, Pupa Napolitano. Silvana is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio Giuffre; daughters, Stephanie “Tania” Giuffre, Claudia “Clo Clo” Giuffre and her husband, Paul Salvador, and Elisabeth “Betta” Giuffre and her husband, Chris Jn-Baptiste; and grandchildren, Giulia, Sabrina, Robert, Thomas, Isabella, and Nicholas.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Interment will be private.
