Obituary of Steven Michael Lebret

Steven Michael Lebret, 39, of Howell Township passed away peacefully with his mother by his side on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Steve was born at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick and was raised in Manalapan.  He moved to Howell in 2014.  Steve graduated from The Harbor School in Eatontown.  He then attended the Adult Program at The Children's Center of Monmouth County, Neptune.  Steve relished his time watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Matters.  He especially enjoyed watching golf with his dad and was watching the final round of the Masters on Sunday.  Steve was a special person to all.

Steven was predeceased by his father, Michael J. “Mick” Lebret.  His is survived by his mother, Mary Ann (nee Blake) Lebret; his aunts and uncles George Lebret and his wife, Claire, Jerry Blake, Rose Mary Gruccio, Joan Lacki and her husband, Allan, Jeanne Dalesandro, and Ruth Ann Solomon; and numerous cousins.

 A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM until his funeral service at 11:00 AM.  For those who cannot attend in person, you may participate via the funeral home’s webcast, HERE.  Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
