Obituary of George A. Barth
George A. Barth 55, of Colts Neck passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Neptune and was raised in Lakewood before settling in Colts Neck in 1998. For over 30 years, George was the owner of Barth Electrical Contractors. He was a remarkably hard worker who took immense pride in his craft, having contributed to the development of nearly every cell phone tower across New Jersey. Beyond his professional accomplishments, George had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He was an avid kayaker and canoer, and he found great tranquility at the beach. He recently achieved a long-held goal of purchasing a summer home on Long Beach Island. George's greatest joy, however, was attending concerts with his brothers and children, especially with his son. Over the years, they attended dozens of performances together, creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
George is predeceased by his father, Richard Barth. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Barth of Colts Neck; three children, Lily Barth of Colorado, Suzie Barth of Colts Neck and Jack Barth of Colts Neck; mother, Sue Barth of Lakewood; three brothers, Eugene Barth and his wife, Kelly of Jackson, Frank Barth of Manchester and John Barth of Lakewood; niece, Samantha and nephew, Carl.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with his Funeral Service to follow.
