Obituary of Lucena R. Cinco

Lucena R. Cinco, 79, of Howell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.  Born and raised in Dinagat Island, Philippines, Lucena dedicated her early career to educating young minds as a public school teacher. In 2007, she immigrated to the United States and made her home in Howell, where she enjoyed spending time with her family and pursuing the hobbies she loved.

Lucena found great joy in sewing and gardening. She was also known for her delicious fish casserole, a family favorite that brought loved ones together around the table. In quieter moments, she enjoyed relaxing while listening to the timeless music of Matt Monro and Frank Sinatra.

Lucena was predeceased by her husband, Bertilino Cinco, Sr.   She is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Cinco; and her son, Bertilino Cinco and his wife, Jenina.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association One Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 and American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave,
