Obituary of Stephen Joseph Biondo, Jr.

On February 5, 1961 a legend was born and on June 8, 2026 that same legend was called back home by God at the young age of 65. Stephen J. Biondo was a loving father and grandfather to his daughters; Jennifer Aquilino and Stephanie LoCicero and to their children; Roma Aquilino, Cira Aquilino, Carmine Aquilino and Matteo LoCicero. To know Stevie was to love him. He spent his days loving his dog, Bruno and the many more before him. Stevie loved cars, watches, fishing, jewelry and building anything and everything. He had hands of gold. He could do anything he put his mind to. Stevie could have built a house from the ground up or a car if he needed to. He would constantly poke fun at his son-in-law, Carmine Aquilino, because he didn't even own a hammer. But he was grateful he had at least one other son-in- law, Angelo LoCicero, who could swing a hammer, but just not as good as him. No one was ever as good as him. There was no one like him. Stevie was a diehard fan of the NY Mets and the NY Giants. They could do no wrong in his eyes. It just shows how loyal and dedicated he was to the people and things that he loved the most. Those who were fortunate to know him know how funny he could be. Stevie loved making jokes and bothering his kids and grandkids and taking every chance he could to poke you with his big sausage fingers. He loved being by a pool and taking the sun with his famous mixture of iodine and baby oil. It was the Stevie sunburn special. In the worst of times, he made the best of things no matter what. He was strong and determined to make the best out of life no matter how tough things became. Stevie showed up for his kids and grandkids always. His loss is profound and he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

A friend said, "There are men in this world and then there are Monumental Men" and Stevie was by far, nothing but, monumental.
