All through his life he had a special joy in his heart, never forgetting his childhood in Newark in the Orange St.- Sussex Ave.- Hudson St. area. Tony also served as an altar boy at St. Augustine’s Church.

Tony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Mary Gorgol. He is survived by his loving wife, Thomasina “Toni” Gorgol who was the love of his life for 61 years; his two cherished daughters, Andrea Gorgol of Manalapan and Jennifer Marvul and her husband, Michael, of Manhattan, NY; his cherished grandsons, Anthony and Eli; his brother, Joseph Gorgol; and many extended family members, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Above all else, Tony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. A hardworking man, he dedicated his life to caring for his family, who were the center of his world.
