Obituary of Caterina Musto
Caterina Musto, 66, of Jackson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Caterina lived in Staten Island before moving to Freehold in 1999 and eventually settling in Jackson. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her family. A dedicated homemaker, Caterina expressed her love through her home and especially through her cooking, preparing countless meals that brought family and friends together. In her free time, Caterina enjoyed crafting and sewing. She also loved to travel and treasured the time on cruises to Bermuda and trips throughout Canada and Florida. Caterina was a kind soul and will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life.
Caterina is survived by her living husband of 37 years, Francesco Musto; son, Enzo Musto and his wife, Linda of Freehold; daughter, Francesca Musto and her husband, Matthew of Freehold; and grandchildren, Jaxon and James as well as one on the way, Giavanna.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
