Obituary of Robert Caballero

Robert "Bob" Caballero, 68, of Howell Township, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center.

Bob grew up in Manalapan, New Jersey, and was a graduate of Manalapan High School. In 1994, he made Howell Township his home.

He was employed as a plumber with Caballero and Sons in Manalapan for many years, where he took great pride in his work.

Bob enjoyed tinkering in his garage, conversing with his neighbors, camping, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, kind heart, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Arcelio Caballero.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Donna Caballero; his sons, Matthew Caballero and Andrew Caballero; his brothers, Michael Caballero and his wife, Allison, and John Caballero and his wife, Linda; his sister, Gina Alleruzzo and her husband, Robert; his five beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, Hunter, Jaxson, Ryan, and Marlee; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish his memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with his funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM.
