Obituary of Suzanne C. Carbone

Suzanne C. Carbone, 55, of Freehold passed away on July 31, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Brooklyn and was raised in South Brunswick and had lived in Marlboro and Jackson before settling in Freehold 8 years ago. Suzanne was known as the mayor and a friend to all. She was a jack of all trades, and there was not a job she was not willing to do; when she did it, she took great pride in her work. Suzanne worked as a cosmetologist at Nordstrom, Ginger's, and Metro. She also worked at the Manalapan Villas, which ultimately led her to her last career as the owner of Golden Days Concierge. Suzanne truly loved people and brought out the best in everyone. She was a friend of Bill W. and was always around to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her all-time favorite hobby was shopping and cheering on the Giants!

Suzanne was predeceased by her father, David Novell. She is survived by her husband, Jim Carbone of Freehold; two children, Michael Carbone and Stephanie Carbone; mother, Linda Novell and her partner, Ralph Laudicina of Jackson; sister, Jennifer Ramelli and her husband, Roger of Howell; In-laws, Ralph and Barbara Carbone of Toms River; sister in law, Christine Sandoval and her husband, Will; brothers in law, Steve Carbone and his wife, Judy of Tom River and Thomas Carbone and his wife, Suann of Arizona; nieces and nephews, Jordyn, Jamie, Marlette, James, Kristy and Dana; many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 2:00 PM with her funeral service to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution in Suzanne’s name can be made to the JAG Fund, 955 Red Coat Farm Drive, Chalfont, PA 18914.
