Obituary of Angelina Marie Valenti
Angelina Marie Valenti, 96, of Brooklyn, New York passed away peacefully at Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Care Center. Angelina was born in Catanzaro, Italy and came to the United States in the mid 1930’s settling in Brooklyn, New York. She lived in Brooklyn her whole life.
Angelina was a homemaker but also worked at Public Schools in Brooklyn as a Lunchroom Assistant and also volunteered for the Board of Elections. She relished her time with her husband, shopping, eating out, talking on the phone and traveling on cruises and trips with her friends and family. Angelina was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother.
Angelina was predeceased by her husband, Anthony and her brother, Joseph Codispoti. She is survived by her children, Linda Foster and her husband, Patrick, Sr. of Brooklyn, Salvatore Valenti and his wife, JoAnn of Manalapan, and Donna Marie Rios and her husband, Salvatore of Jackson; five grandchildren, Lauren Foster, Patrick Foster, Jr., Daniel Rios, and twins, Nicole and Christina Rios; and her sister-in-law, BettyAnn Codispoti.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM. For those that cannot attend her funeral service in person, the family invites you to participate via the funeral home’s webcast, HERE. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:30 AM for the procession to her interment in Forest Green Park Cemetery, 535 Texas Road, Morganville, NJ.
