Obituary of Louis Reha

Louis J. Reha, 75, of Freehold Township passed away at CentraState Medical Center with his family by his side. Lou was born on Staten Island and lived there until moving to Freehold Township in 1986. In addition to working at Robert A. Keasbey in Manhattan, he was in the Army National Guard, and then eventually started a business, Allied Insulation. A former member of the Road Trotters in the 1950s, the Horsemen's Association and the Princess Boatmen's Association. Lou will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker who loved the outdoors, cars and working with his hands. He loved to bake cakes, and was known to make them for special occasions. Lou created memories in the Catskill Mountains and down the Shore that his family will treasure. Lou is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Reha, Freehold Township; his son, Lance Reha and his wife, Elizabeth, of Staten Island, Jenifer Cahill and her husband, Ken, of Toms River, and Jason Reha and his wife, Stacey, of Freehold Township; and four grandchildren, Ashley Reha, Justin Reha, Sophia Cahill and Ava Cahill. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
