Obituary of Deanie Janczewski

Deanie M. Janczewski, 73, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. She was born in Fincastle, VA and settled in Freehold Township in 1964. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved flowers and the outdoors. Considered a perfectionist by her children, all Deanie wanted was to make others happy, always putting them first and herself last. She was an excellent cook and baker . She had so many specialties, but was famous for her delicious pierogies. She loved family gatherings and holidays, and always made sure to make enough food to feed the neighborhood. Deanie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stosh Janczewski ; her infant son, Lee Janczewski; her parents, John and Lucille Cahoon;, and her infant grandson, Timothy Edward Janczewski. She is survived by three sons, Eddie Janczewski and his wife, Carol, John Janczewski and his wife, Kristine, and Eric Janczewski and his wife, Beth; three daughters, Bonnie McMahon and her husband, Kevin, Diane Pipher and her husband, Kenny, and Shelly Romano and her husband, Carmine; two sisters, Rose Lee Kardos and her husband, Bob, and Wanda Tearney and her husband, Bryan and their families; one brother-in-law, Butch Janczewski; and one sister-in-law, JoAnn Colon. A proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, Justine, Elise, Katelyne, Kenny, Danielle, Nick, Holly, Carmine, Michael, Christopher, Emily, Ava and Jake; one great grandchild, Bentley. Deanie will truly be missed by her family, friends and all those who she touched in her life. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM on Monday, November 16. 2015 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will be private.
