Obituary of Anna Messer

Anna M. Messer, 86, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Wedgwood Gardens Rehabilitation Center, Freehold Township. Anna was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and had lived in Edison before moving to Freehold Township. She was an assembler at Waage Electric, Kenilworth, NJ retiring at the age of 75. Anna was a former parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Messer in 2003; a son, Thomas Anthony Messer in 1985; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Sadie Ritchie and her husband, David of Freehold Township, Mary Ellen & Joseph Goodman of Spring Lake and Renee & Neal Plaska of Freehold Township; six grandchildren, Carolyn, Katherine, Victoria, Christine, Michael and Alexandra; and one great granddaughter, Hope. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Family will receive friends prior to the Mass beginning at 9:30 AM. The arrangements are under the directions of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
