Obituary of Andrew Cavorley

Andrew Cavorley, 80, of Howell Township passed away at home on Friday, December 4, 2015. Andrew was born on Staten Island and had lived in Midland Beach before moving to Howell Township in 1998. He was a manager at Woolworths in Staten Island, Lower Manhattan and Stapleton. Andrew enjoyed working with his hands and was known as a talented woodworker and carpenter. He was an avid Mets fan, and enjoyed watching and playing baseball with the neighborhood kids. Andrew was predeceased by one brother; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Estella Cavorley of Howell Township; a daughter, Katherine McKendry and her husband, Brian of Howell; a son, Andy Cavorley and his wife, Donna of South Brunswick; four grandchildren, Nicholas McKendry, Kyle Cavorley, Kristin Cavorley and Kelsie Cavorley; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday December 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 8:30 AM for the procession to the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Township for his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass.
