Obituary of John Pasquariello

John P. Pasquariello, 95, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. The son of Joseph and Carmella Pasquariello, He was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. John moved to Midland Park where he raised his family, before moving to Freehold Township in 1995. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, landing on Normandy Beach on D-Day. John subsequently spent 45 years working in the garment industry. He was a member of the Italian American Club in Totowa, a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. An avid Giants and Mets fan, John was a semi-pro bowler, a gardener and a great cook; known for his sauce, and sausage and peppers. John was predeceased by his first wife, Katherine Pasquariello, in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Natividad "Natty" Pasquariello, and their children, Carmen Estremera and her husband, Frank, Linda Enright and her husband, Gregory, Joseph Pasquariello and his wife, Susan, Marifeli Rucker and her husband Bob, Gelitza Smalley and her husband, Glendon, and Felix Estremera and his wife, Linda. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the funeral home for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
