Obituary of Richard Silvani

Richard R. "Ricky" Silvani, Jr. 37, of Englishtown passed away at home on December 15, 2015. He was born in Neptune and raised in Farmingdale before moving to Englishtown two years ago. He was a waiter at Metropolitan Café, and took great pride in being the general manager at Tre Pizza since their opening this year. Ricky was a member of the Farmingdale Hunting Club, the Farmingdale Underground, an Eagle Scout from Farmingdale Troop 13 and an avid bow hunter. He was a NJ Devils Fan, a Jets fan and a radio DJ. Ricky was loved by all who knew him. Those he left behind will forever be broken-hearted, but inspired by his life. Ricky was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Alice Musso and his paternal grandfather, Alphonse Silvani. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Patricia Silvani of Farmingdale; two brothers, Michael Silvani and his wife, Melissa, and Ryan Silvani and his girlfriend, Sandy Conway, all of Farmingdale; his fiancée, Jaine Cecelski of Englishtown; his paternal grandmother, Mary Silvani, of Bayonne; his uncle, Joseph Musso, Jr. of Farmingdale; his aunts, Susan Silva and her husband, Edmond of Fall River, MA and Marianne Silvani of Bayonne; his cousin, Kayla Silvani of Bayonne; his nephew, Brennan Chavanne; his niece, Parker Chavanne; many friends; his two fur babies, Orange Cat and Gray Cat; and his Farmingdale family. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service following at 7:00 PM.
