Obituary of Margaret Cuccia

Margaret Cuccia, 85, of Silvermead, Freehold Township, NJ on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Mrs. Cuccia was born in Manhattan, NY and had lived in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, NY and the Eltingville section of Staten Island, NY before moving to Silvermead, Freehold Twp. in 1982. She was a parishioner at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Twp., NJ. She was an active resident of the Silvermead community as a former editor of the Informer, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at CentraState Medical Center and as a bocce player. Surviving are her husband of 64 years: John Cuccia of Freehold Twp., NJ; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Lenore and Woody Gasperin of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, Joanne and Glen Mathisen of West Palm Beach, FL, Margaret Davis of Freehold Twp., NJ; Six Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren; two brothers: Felix Giuca of Howell, NJ and James Giuca of Massapequa, NY. Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., on Monday, December 3, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, December 4, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her at 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arrneytown, NJ.
