She worked for Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator, as a server at Connie's in Farmingdale, and as a sales associate at Lin-Mar's Bazaar. Ann was a dedicated member and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary, Farmingdale Fire Department. She was active at the Howell Seniors Center. Ann was a former Elder, Deaconess, and Trustee of Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was also a former Superintendent and Teacher of Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church School. She had quite the artistic talent and would often go to the Slip Rack to complete various ceramic projects and classes. Ann enjoyed bus trips with the seniors, finding joy traveling to many new places, and had love for her dogs. Her green thumb allowed her to tend to her beautiful flower garden, which she took great pride in. Above all, Ann was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Walter V. Megill in 2004; son, Kenneth R. Megill in 1986; brother, Donald Butcher, Jr.; sister, Betty Lacewell; and nephew, Tom Lacewell.
