Obituary of Kim A. Taylor

Kim A. Taylor, 50, of Freehold Township passed away unexpectedly at the DaVita Dialysis Facility in Jackson on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  Kim was born on Staten Island and was raised and had lived in the Dongan Hills section.  She moved to the Riviera Community, Freehold in 2006.  Kim was a graduate of the College of Staten Island and received her master’s degree from Georgian Court University.  She had a passion for helping people which led her to a career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of New Jersey, Commission of the Blind.  Kim was a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine and a former parishioner of St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church.  She loved to shop and had a warm place in her heart for canine companion, Leia.

Kim was predeceased by her father, Thomas “Sonny” Taylor; her aunt, Christina Schoentube; and her canine companion, Leia.  She is survived by her mother, Rosemary; brothers, Jeff Taylor and his wife, Maria of Belle Mead and Gregg Taylor and his wife, Denise of Freehold; four nieces, Alyssa, Danielle, Annarose, and Gianna,; a nephew, Brendan; aunt, Marilyn DeBiase and her husband, Carl; and uncle, Glenn Taylor and his wife, Mary. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Monday, January 15, 2024.  Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.  Arrangements by Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
