Obituary of Eugenia Madore
Eugenia Madore, 92, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 18, 2019. Jenny was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She moved to Edison with her husband, Raymond to raise their family and had lived there for over fifty years. Jenny moved to Lakewood and then to Jackson in 2015. She was a former parishioner of St. Helena’s Roman Catholic Church, Edison. Jenny enjoyed spending time in the Bingo Hall and along with her husband, she relished in her time spent in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Proud of her Polish heritage, she was a master in the kitchen making traditional Polish food and was fondly called Bacci by her grandchildren.
Jenny was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2009; and her seven siblings. She is survived by her four sons, Raymond Madore and his wife, Barbara of Louisville, Kentucky, Richard Madore and his wife, Joyce of Freehold Township, New Jersey, Russell Madore and his wife, Susan of Suwanee, Georgia, and Robert Madore and his wife, Sharon of Bayville, New Jersey; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with her memorial service to held at 4:00 PM. Inurnment will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
