Sometimes when a beautiful soul dies it takes a long time before you really feel it. There is shock and sadness right away, of course, and there is an absence like a hole in the air where something should be, but isn't. Still, you don't really feel the death, because it is impossible to comprehend right away that all the little things you knew and loved about Lori have vanished from your life forever. As in the old song, it is a matter of "the way you wear your hat, the way you sip your tea," or laugh, or walk, or stand, or open the door, or answer the telephone, or write a letter...Godspeed dear Lori!
Lori was a beautiful, loving, caring person. She would always make time to chat and catch up with our lives. I think back at all the summer days playing, swimming and just being kids in our neighborhood. We had a blast. I’m glad I have beautiful memories of Lori and the family. My heart is broken she left us so young. Hugs and love go out to the family. You are family and we love you. Our hearts go out to you love Mindy
We are so very sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul. She was a beautiful selfless friend from the moment we met her and her wonderful loving family. We will miss her joy of life and her beautiful smile. All of our loving thoughts and prayers to the Alexanders, Nagys, and Rottkamps.
Words can not express how saddened I am to hear of Lori's passing. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with you all. Someone so special can never be forgotten, may you find peace and comfort in your memories❤️
With heartfelt sympathy,
Jeanne

Honored & Blessed to have met Lori & Jim approximately one year ago at Centrastate Medical Center. Lori was filled with grace, kindness, love and made everyone around her feel important, loved & inspired. Lori was a warrior. She taught us to live fully, love life and be in the moment! I am a better Nurse, Mother, Person because of Lori who has touched my heart, taught me more than my degree could ever. It is a short journey for Lori & yet she impacted so many. God has placed this beautiful woman, with her most expressive gorgeous eyes and loving heart, in our life journey and I will honor her, remember her and promise to channel her love to each patient I care for on Oncology.
“The best LOVE is the kind that Awakens the soul, makes you a better person, makes us reach for more, stays in our hearts, and brings peace.” Lori made us all feel this way. Continue to spread her love.
“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.” Thank you Lori for bringing joy, happiness & Love to us.
Rest in peace & love, prayers for healing during this time to the entire family and friends.
May God’s healing be with all,
Louise Damiani RN Oncology CSMC

Lori is finally over with her suffering and has left wonderful memories for all of us to share. How very strong and dedicated she was to her family and whenever a Nagy or Alexander spends time with her children they will see Lori and all the hard work and love she put into raising them. Jim will be a very loving Dad and will have an Army of support to help him through this. We will never forget Lori and to Barb and her brothers we are here for anything you might need. I am very proud that Lori was my niece and that we had 45 years of watching her grow from a ltttle girl into a strong beautiful woman. She has been an inspiration to all of us. To Barb my heart and arms are always open to you. To my beloved nephews I am just a call away, Always there for each of you. We wish for only peace and solace in your lives. Peace and comfort to Jim.
Joe, Marissa & family,
I am so, so sorry to hear about Lori’s passing. I pray that you all can find peace and comfort in these most difficult times. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Love you!
