Condolences
Drew, my heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. You are very fortunate to have had your Mother for such a long time, as is the rest of the family. That said, it is still never easy to lose a loved one. She lived a very full life and she did it her own way. You can't ask for more than that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Fondly, Karen Skiles
We were saddened to read of your mother's passing Brian. Our prayers are with you, Joan, and the children. May God Bless You all.

We are sorry for your loss... We knew her as Kitty. She was a great lady and everyone will miss her. Linda, Evelyn, Ed and Elaine. We were her friends at Kings Point. Condolences to the entire family.
We are so sorry for your loss. "Mrs Lapatin", as I always called her, was such a nice and caring lady. She always remembered me and my kids birthdays and the Holidays. She routinely called just to see how everyone was doing and to fill me in on her extended family of boys, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I will miss that connection, our conversations, and her heartfelt cards forever.
My Dad and Mrs Lapatin cared for each other very much and she took very good care of my Dad when he was sick. Our parents were good friends and I can remember them sitting around the driveway talking for hours. And after your Dad passed Mrs Lapatin would stay late at our house talking to my Mom. She was always included in Holiday dinners at home and celebrations at restaurants. After my mom passed my Dad and Mrs Lapatin grew closer and shared a good life together.
Our parents are all together again enjoying sitting around and talking for eternity. I miss them all.
My kids Larry, Bobby, and Cassandra will miss her too. They all know how much she cared for their grandfather. She was a part of our lives and will always be remembered.
