Obituary of Dana Marie Mahler
Dana Marie Mahler, 32, of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. Dana worked as a technician at The Center for Great Expectations in Somerset.
Dana was a loving aunt to her two nephews; Anthony and Nicholas. She was so proud that Anthony is doing well at Monmouth University, and loved to go to all of Nicholas’s little league games as well as play on the Xbox with him. Family meant the world to her, especially holidays. Dana had many friends in New Jersey as well as Florida, but no one meant more to her than her girlfriend Christy. Dana would go out of her way to help any friend who was going through an issue or had a need, and she always took the side of the underdog. Maybe that’s why she loved the NY Giants so much. Dana loved her music and had written a few songs which she got to perform live at open mics in Florida, she definitely wasn’t shy and she will be truly missed.
Dana was predeceased by her grandmother, Marion Mahler in 2018; and her great grandmother, Marion Palmieri in 2016. She is survived by her mother, Lynette Mahler of Manalapan; father, Dave Mahler of Marlboro; grandmother, Marion Scida of Staten Island; brother, David Mahler and his wife, Danielle Rizzo-Mahler of Manalapan; nephews, Anthony Rizzo and Nicholas Mahler; girlfriend, Christy Abrams; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
