Obituary of Dorothy Wood

Dorothy Wood, 102, of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Brandywine Assisted Living. She was born and raised in Union, lived in Irvington, and settled in Middletown. Dorothy was an office manager for Lilly Tulip for many years before retiring in 1987. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed collecting antique teacups. Dorothy found joy in playing Bridge, so much so, that she was part of a Bridge Club. One of her favorite past times was bowling.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert M. Wood; brother, Howard Kressler; and sisters, Winifred Regi and Bernice Schulte. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Rick Wood and his wife, Suzy of Howell, and Jeff Wood of Middletown; grandchildren, Cindy Wood of Howell, and Brian Wood and his wife, Jessica of Red Bank; and a great grandson, Jason DeSantis of Howell.
