Obituary of Jacques H. Feyt

Jacques H. Feyt, 94, of Freehold passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 peacefully at home. He was born and raised in Fontainbleau, France and came to the United States in 1980. Jacques then lived in Myrtle Beach, SC and Deland, FL before settling to Freehold 5 years ago with his sister. He worked as a Carpenter alongside his father in France for many years at Feyt & Fils. Jacques was known for being quirky, one of a kind, and special Uncle Jack.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Genevieve A. Feyt in 1999; second wife, Eddy Feyt in 2012; parents, Charles and Simone Feyt; sister, Pierrette Feyt; and brother-in-law, Bill Smith in 2015. Jacques is survived by his sister, Suzette Alice Smith; nephews, Thierry Smith of Toms River and Thomas Smith and his wife, Lorraine of Winston Salem, NC; niece, Peggy Timpani and her husband, Placido of Howell; and many grand nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 2:00 PM Funeral Service at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, January 31, 2021. For those that cannot attend, the family invites you to participate via Webcast through the Funeral Home website HERE.
