Obituary of Matthew Anthony Weber
Matthew Anthony Weber, 40, of Neptune passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 . He was born in Danbury Connecticut and raised in Freehold, before moving to the Jersey shore where he lived for many years but most recently he had moved to Piscataway, NJ. Matthew graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft in 1999 and later went on to get his bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University. He was currently employed as a Mental Health Specialist at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in Piscataway. Matthew loved adventure and he loved the outdoors. If Matthew wasn’t working he could be found surfing down at the Shore, Snowboarding up north or skateboarding anywhere he could find a rail. He found peace and tranquility in the beauty of the ocean as well as the mountains. Matthews' biggest love however was his beautiful niece and goddaughter Mia. We know she will forever hold the memories of her Uncle Matthew in her heart. Everyone that knew Matt, recognized that his one true gift was to help others in need. He felt that it gave him great purpose in life to live his life in service of others. We will all miss him being one phone call away but the advice and mentorship that he gave us all will live on.
Matthew was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Anthony “Baba” DiBuono; and his paternal grandparents, Robert M. Weber and Agnes G. Weber. He is survived by his mother, Margo Weber of Shark River Hills; father, Robert V. Weber of West Deptford; brother, Daniel R. Weber and his wife, Lacey of Hamilton; his niece, Mia; Maternal Grandmother, Antoinette DiBuono of Shark River Hills; Aunts and Uncles, Carmella, Domenico, Joe, Michele, Jimmy, Patti, Paul, Nyeema, and Cathy. Matthew also leaves behind a host of loving cousins, extended family members and many friends.
