Obituary of Maryann E. Horowitz

Maryann E. Horowitz, 71, of The Riviera in Freehold Township passed away at home after a battle with Amyloidosis. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in East Brunswick before settling here in 2007. Maryann was a loan officer for PNC Bank for over 5 years. Her main goal in life was to have a beautiful home and she worked hard to make that dream come true. Maryann enjoyed crafting, cooking, and collecting Hummel figurines. Later in life she started to focus on her physical fitness, losing over 100 pounds at the age of 64 crediting her weight loss to those who helped and guided her at CentraState Fitness and Wellness Center.

She is predeceased by her husband, Jerry Horowitz. Maryann is survived by her loving son, Alexander Horowitz and his wife, Carmen of East Windsor; two brothers, Daniel and Alfred Gargiulo both of Monroe; and longtime companion John Pace of Jackson.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
