Obituary of James R. Martin
James R. Martin, 54, of Freehold Township, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1967 in Red Bank, raised in Ocean Township, before settling in Freehold Township 20 years ago. James was the General Manager of Crown Cadillac, he was very passionate about his work and has been in the car industry for over 36 years. In his spare time, he was an avid golfer, country music lover, extreme baseball fan, and overall, the most dedicated father to his girls. James loved his family, friends and adored his children more than anything.
He is predeceased by his father, Rodger Martin; stepfather, Fred Hundertpfund; his aunt, Laurie Julian; his daughter, Faith Martin; and grandparents, Doris and Richard Newell. James is survived by his mother, Kathy Hundertpfund of Whiting; his aunt, Wendy Newell of Whiting; brother, Scott Martin and his wife, Lisa; his niece and nephew, Kayla and Eric Martin of Hazlet; former wife, Kara Martin of Freehold; his significant other, Marisa Thorn and her son, Nicholas Thorn; and most importantly, his two daughters, Riley and Macie Martin of Freehold.
