Obituary of Oschur Amarhanow

Oschur “Bud” Amarhanow, 67, of Highland Park, NJ passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2022.  Oschur was born in Philadelphia, PA to Maria and Hariton Amarhanow, and lived in Cranbury and Holmdel, NJ before moving to Highland Park 5 years ago. He spent his career in construction, specializing in single-family residential homes.  The greatest pride of his career was building the house his children grew up in, in Cranbury.

Oschur is survived by his wife, Isabelle; one son, Douglas Amarhanow; two daughters, Juliette Chen and Lindsey Amarhanow; one grandson; and two dogs, Ayu and Sascha.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Burial will follow at St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Oschur may be made to the Kalmyk Mongolian Buddhist Center, 122 Squirrel Tree Lane, Mt.
