Obituary of Mildred L Bartiromo
Mildred L. Bartiromo was called home to the Lord on May 13, 2022. She was born to Nicolo Bergamotto and Anna D’Apice Bergamotto on April 11th,1931. She attended and graduated from East Side High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Louis “Babe” Bartiromo on April 30th, 1950, whom she loved and missed every day since he returned to the Lord on January 11, 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Knipper; Granddaughters, Jaimie Maines, Melissa Roth and Heather Fay who made her heart burst with pride. She also leaves behind Timothy Maines, George Roth and William Fay IV, their spouses whom she loved like her grandsons. She was blessed with eight great grandchildren who filled her heart with such joy, Carter Maines, Shane Roth, Connor Maines, Quinn Maines, Emma Roth, William Fay V, Noah Fay and Everly Fay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and the friends she made over the last years who filled her life with companionship and love. She was predeceased by her siblings, Clara Carluccio, Angela Vanacore, Rose Dante, Nick Bergamotto,Pat Bergamotto, Marie Pierre, James Bergamotto, Joseph Bergamotto and Harry Bergamotto.
She was devoted to God, Mary and her family. All who knew her agree we have lost a special woman who was fiercely loyal and who loved with her whole heart.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment to follow at St. Gabriel Chapel and Masoleum, 549 State Route 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746 .
