Obituary of Joan P. Biddle

Joan P. Biddle, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Ocean University Medical Center, Brick, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Neptune on September 13, 1927. She lived all her life in the Freehold area. Joan worked for New Jersey Bell for 8 years and was employed by the United States Post Office retiring in 1989, Joan was also employed by the Clothesline from 1990 before retiring in 2005.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Biddle, Jr in 2001; Parents, H. Russell, and Ruth Patten; Four sisters, Jeannette Blair, Margaret Snyder, Elizabeth Megill and Gloria Solinski; Brother, Adrian R. Patten. Joan is survived by her sister, Alice Corrigan of Toms River; Brother, George Patten of Howell; Daughter, Pamela Orpel and her husband, Daniel of Manchester, Frank E. Biddle III and his wife, Victoria of Adelphia and Stephen Biddle and his wife, Cynthia of Brick; Six Grand Children, Kenneth Robinson III and his wife, Amanda, Kelly Robinson and her husband, Matt, Kimberly Doyle and her husband, Matt, Jamie Johnson and her husband, John, Abigail L. Biddle and Cory J. Biddle; Two Step grandchildren, Ryan Orpel and Josh Orpel and his wife, Danielle; 11 Great grandchildren, Jayden, Chase, Aiden, Zackery, Matthew, Paige, Joshua, Jacob, Emma, Ava and Hadley.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 for the procession to her 10:30 AM graveside service at Brigadier General William C.
