Obituary of Corinne Lynn Bongiorni

Corinne Lynn Bongiorni, 71, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at The Manor, Freehold. She was born and raised in Manhattan, lived in Dumont and Staten Island before settling in Freehold in April of 2021. For many years she worked as a Logistics Coordinator for Global Transport Logistics, LLC., following in her father’s footsteps. Corinne enjoyed all kinds of music, especially the Rolling Stone and The Who, and attended countless concerts. In her younger years, she rode up the California coast with her friends on motorcycles. She had a great sense of humor, was strong willed, and fiercely independent. Corinne’s greatest accomplishments were her grandchildren, often pretending to be a Zebra for Anthony.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank J. and Inez Bongiorni; and ex-husband, William Moclaire. Corinne is survived by her daughter, Eileen Murino and her husband, Michael of Freehold; grandchildren, Anthony Patrick Murino and Delaney Claire Murino; brother, Alan Bongiorni; niece, Tara Bongiorni; and nephew, Frank Bongiorni and his wife, Alyson.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleums, 169 West Main Street, Freehold.
