She was born in Jersey City in 1952, and then moved to Old Bridge with her family in 1958 where she grew up. Nancy settled in Howell in 1979 where she raised her children. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State College and then earned her Master’s from Kean University. She was a skilled and compassionate educator for the Old Bridge Board of Education for over 30 years, retiring in 2008. Nancy dedicated her life to the sport of swimming, which began at the Metuchen YMCA. She would later continue to swim at Montclair State. She took pride in her position as a swimming official for the NJSIAA in the Northern and Shore Swimming chapters. As a woman of faith, she was a parishioner of St. Veronica’s Church. Of all her roles in life, her most treasured role was being a Nana.
