Obituary of Francis Pace
Francis "Frank" Pace, 83, of FREEHOLD, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp. Mr. Pace was born in Zabbar, Malta, settling in Astoria, Queens, N.Y. in 1950. He lived in College Point, Queens before moving to Freehold in 1994. Mr. Pace was maintenance supervisor for the Hudson Co., NY, NY retiring in 1985.. He was a communicant at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale.
He was predeceased by his wife Sally in February. Surviving are his three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Albert Rozansky of Freehold; Joyce and Joseph Whalen of Merrick, N.Y.; and Joan and James Baker of Greensboro, N.C.; six grandchildren, Lauren Kuminka and her husband, Eric, Jeffrey and Kenneth Rozansky, Julianne, Steven, and Thomas Whalen; two great granddaughters, Isabella and Carly; one brother, Carmel Pace of Canada; one sister, Grace Hyams of London.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Family and friends may gather at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for the Rite of Committal followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Frank may be made to Howell First Aid, P.O.
