Obituary of Francis Cerankowski

Francis "Frank" J. Cerankowski, Sr., 60, of Millstone Township passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Frank was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, was raised in Newark and had lived in Carteret before moving to Millstone Twp. in 1985. He was a 1969 graduate of Carteret High School. Frank was a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War and retired from the Navy Reserves in 1992. He was the South Division Manager for All Jersey Systems Inc., Cliffwood, for the past twelve years. Frank was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge 2613, and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, both of Millstone Twp. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis S. and Elizabeth L. Cerankowski. Frank is survived by his wife, Valerie "Jeanne" Cerankowski; a son, Francis J. Cerankowski, Jr. and his fiancée, Teresa LaMagra of Millstone Twp; three daughters, Lauren Semanchick and her husband, Jeffrey of Roosevelt, Melissa Cerankowski of Hamilton and Andrea Cerankowski of Millstone Twp; four grandchildren, Collin, Degan, Ryder, and Greyden; a brother, Joseph Cerankowski of Marlboro; two sisters, Mary Lou Pavlonnis of Carteret and Elizabeth Coons of Port Reading; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 9:30 AM followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone Twp.
