Dear Uncle Dave,
This story / letter is basically for you! To someone I've always loved, even as a little girl. Whether playing "spelling bee" with you, listening to you play the piano or just sitting on your lap. Growing up visiting you on 4th Street, your place on Tonnele Ave., your homes in Bayonne and finally in your final stop at Brandywine. I'm glad I've gotten to know you more than ever in the last few years. You have been such an inspiration to me in the way you lived. We have been through alot together and I can't tell you how proud I am for the effort and perserverence you showed. There was so much to overcome along the way but we were teammates to the end. You did a great job and always somehow managed to get back on your feet. That's what I admired most about you. I can only aspire to be like you! Your little private concerts during our visits were especially touching to me and most times I would get emotional listening to you. You always added your little twist to songs and made them sound so much better! Your Ave' Maria is especially my favorite. It has such emotion! I will so miss those times. You will never know how much I will cherish them and how much you were loved by everyone! You brought happiness to many! You are now in a better place with no more pain and suffering. You are at peace and with our family! I just wanted to tell you that it was such a "priviledge" to be with you in your last years and I will never forget all the good you've done for me and others in your life! There will be a big void to fill with you gone. I already feel somewhat helpless but with my many memories of you, I know I will be fine knowing we will meet again! My Uncle, My Godfather, My Friend! I love you with all my heart and soul! RIP Uncle Dave and Thank YOU for being YOU!!!! Love always, Your Niece and Godaughter, Laure
