Condolences
Dear Dee and Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of such a wonderful man as Dennis. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Dear Dee, Inow read the obituaries after having recently lost my beloved sister Linda to cancer...perhaps I am trying to make sense of senseless events. But I wanted to share my condolences on the loss of your husband. We went to Raritan together and I always remember you as friendly, sincere, and involved. The eulogy was so well written I felt as though I got to know him. He seemed like a wonderful man. I could also identify as I taught in Hazlet for 34 years and was also widowed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure you are surrounded by family and friends, but as time goes on if you ever want to talk e-mail me or call 908-610-8442
It has been an honor and a privilege to work with and get to know Dennis for the past several months. Even in his greatest times of sickness he always had a smile, never complained and had such a good energy around him. He was truly a class act.
Dear Dee and family, I am saddened by the loss of a man who gave everything to others. I loved watching Dennis and Dee together~truly a wonderful and caring couple, best friends and intellectual partners. Neptune will carry a piece of you both through out time, thank you for this. May the light of Dennis' smile, the humor in his banter, and the love in his heart be with you all and comfort you. God Speed Dennis.
Dee and Family: I will always remember Dennis's smile and words of "hang in there" in my visits to SRH School. The laughs he instilled during Admin Council meetings have never been matched, but are a memory in my heart!! My prayers are with you and family at this time, and as you know, he is a treasure to anyone who worked with him. thanks for the memories Dennis. Love Kathleen Thomsen
Dee and family, I am so sorry for the loss of such an amazing man. I had the pleasure of working with Dennis at Summerfield School back in the 80's when he was a school psychologist. He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. He will be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Love, Janis Rush
Kelsey,I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I know that a "big" piece of life has been taken from yours, but remember all the good times you made wonderful memories with him. My prayers are with you and your family and know that God can give the peace that passeth all understanding of these situations in our life. Lean on Him and your family and together - you will get through this...Blessings, Judy
Dee, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Dennis was a most special person who always had a smile and kind word for everyone. As a new Neptune staff member in March 1985, I had the pleasure of working with him at the Ridge Avenue School. He was the school psychologist at the time and would stop in to see how I was doing with my (difficult) class and offer encouragement with that trademark smile of his! May he rest in peace in a more perfect place and may you be blessed with comfort and peace in the days ahead. In sympathy, Donna
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Thompson was the best elementary school principal in the world. He was my mentor, and I had so much fun making the morning and afternoon announcements with him in 2007 when I was in 5th grade. He made SRH Elementary the best elementary school and it was not the same after he left. He made my elementary school years the best and I will remember him and those years for the rest of my life.
Dee and Family, We have lost a wonderful professional who dedicated his entire career to the children and parents of the Neptune School District. His talents and warm regard for all who served with him in his numerous assignments is a testament to his love of children and those who have dedicated themselves to the noble profession of teaching. Michael T. Lake

I played "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" for Herb in memory of Dennis - and now that is our favorite song! So many memories - so much love, understanding, and so much joy in life -that is Dennis.
